No man is an island…
Dad,
I just read a headline and my heart broke. I didn’t even know that this woman existed until I saw it: “Johnson & Johnson heiress Casey Johnson died alone days before anyone noticed she was gone.”
I wonder how many people are living their lives in such a way that days would pass before anyone noticed their absence from their lives.
Dad, you’ve taught me that we were all created by You for relationship….with You and with one another. No man is an island…and clearly, having lots of celebrity “friends” doesn’t mean much.
I love you more today than yesterday.
